Bay Creek Bathroom Remodel

Project Overview

This Bay Creek primary bathroom remodel turned a dated, underused space into a bright, spa-inspired retreat. The goal was a calm, all-white bathroom with real room to unwind: a freestanding soaking tub under the window, a roomy walk-in shower, and a double vanity with plenty of storage for two. Classic details like polished nickel fixtures and Shaker cabinetry keep the look timeless, while the skylights and large window fill the room with natural light.

The Challenge

Client Goals & Pain Points:

The original bathroom felt dated and didn’t make good use of its size or natural light. The clients wanted a true primary suite bathroom: a place to soak at the end of the day, a walk-in shower that’s easy to step in and out of, and a vanity with enough counter space and storage for two people. They were drawn to a classic, light-filled look that would stay timeless rather than follow trends.

The Solution

What We Did:

We set a freestanding soaking tub beneath the window as the focal point of the room and paired it with a floor-mounted polished nickel tub filler and handheld sprayer. Glossy white subway tile runs as a wainscot around the tub area and continues floor to ceiling in the new walk-in shower, which features a frameless glass enclosure, a built-in bench, a recessed niche, and a marble-look penny tile floor.

Along the main wall, a white Shaker double vanity with a quartz countertop gives each person their own sink and storage, finished with traditional polished nickel faucets, bronze pulls and knobs, ribbed glass sconces, and a large frameless mirror. Large-format marble-look floor tile ties the whole space together, and the skylights keep it bright from morning to night.
