Portland Whole-Home Remodel – Woodstock Neighborhood
Project Overview
Located in the highly desirable Woodstock neighborhood of Portland, this home was in severe disrepair—from the foundation to the roof. Rather than tear the house down and undergo a costly permitting process for new construction, we redesigned and remodeled the entire structure, creating a brand-new layout and fresh finishes, all while staying within budget.
Key Features
- Full rebuild from foundation to roof
- Completely redesigned interior layout
- Upgraded structural components without full demolition
- Stylish, modern finishes throughout
- Expanded footprint with new front and back porches
Timeline: 6 months (not including design and permitting)

The Challenge
Client Goals & Pain Points:
The home was in extremely poor condition and no longer functional. The clients wanted to gain more usable space and create large, inviting porches at the front and back. Full demolition and new construction permits would have been time-consuming and expensive, so the challenge was to work within the existing footprint and structure where possible while delivering a completely new home experience.
The Solution
What We Did:
We rebuilt the home from the ground up—literally. Starting with the foundation and moving all the way to the roof, every structural and aesthetic element was redesigned, rebuilt and improved. The exterior and interior layout were completely reimagined to make better use of the space, while modern finishes gave the home a fresh, contemporary feel. New living space on the left and front and back porches were added, fulfilling the client’s vision for spacious kitchen and extended outdoor living. The result is a beautifully rebuilt home in one of Portland’s most desirable neighborhoods—delivered without the cost and delay of a full tear-down.
